How to Test an Archive?
You might have corrupted archives from which you cannot extract any data. With Alpha ZIP you can test the archive before performing the extract operation.
Select the archive you want to test and right-click on it, then from the Alpha ZIP menu select Test Archive item. Alpha ZIP will test your archive and the Test Archive Status window will be opened to display the status of the archive.
The test archive status window contains:
- a list of all the files in the archive
- the status for each file from the archive
The files from your archive will be extracted in the current location.
The files with OK status can be extracted with no problems.
